Intellectual Teams Platform Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Intellectual Teams platform ("Platform") provided by Intellectual Apps UK Ltd. ("Company"). By accessing or using the Platform, as an employer ("Employer") or tech talent ("Developer"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Employer Section

2.1 Platform Access

  • Employers have access to the Platform via interaction with the Platform team members via phone call, online call (audio or video), or in-person..

2.2 Hiring Process

  • Employers agree to work with team members remotely only.
  • Employers are responsible for additional screening and selection of suitable Developers for their projects.
  • Employers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when hiring development teams.
  • Employers agree that majority of Developers would be physically based in Nigeria.

2.3 Payments

  • Employers are required to pay for the services of hired development teams through the Platform.
  • Payments must be made in accordance with the terms agreed upon between employers and development teams.
  • The Company may facilitate payment processing on the Platform but is not responsible for any disputes related to payments.

3.1 Eligibility

  • Developers must meet the following criteria to use the Platform:
  • Must be willing to take up full-time remote work.
  • Must be able to power (electricity) for the agreed work hours and for the duration of their engagement.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet for the agreed work hours and for the duration of their engagement.
  • Must be willing to work full time.
  • Must be able to provide a working computer with a functional microphone and camera.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must be fluent in speaking English.
  • Must be very good in English listening.
  • Must be very good in writing English.
  • Must consent to being listed in the talent pool and having their data held.
  • Must be fully responsible for paying their taxes as at when due.
  • Must keep all work information confidential.

3.2 Talent Pool

  • Developers who consent to being listed in the talent pool may be considered for future job opportunities posted via the Platform.
  • Developers have the right to withdraw consent and remove their profile from the talent pool at any time.

3.3 Communication

  • Developers must maintain professional and respectful communication with Employers and team members.
  • Developers must promptly inform employers of any issues or concerns related to their work.

3.4 Confidentiality

  • Developers must keep all sensitive information shared by Employers confidential.

4. General Provisions

4.1 Amendments

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform.

4.2 Termination

  • The Company may terminate or suspend access to the Platform for any violation of these Terms.

4.3 Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

4.4 Severability

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
